I wanted to be a pharmacist, but due to taking chemistry, the jobs of chemist and nuclear chemist have grown in my eyes.

So…I want you guys (and gals) to tell me of some ideas that I could work on in the future that could possibly make me achieve a noble prize. Some may see my request as a joke, but I am not joking at all.

I really want ideas. Just think of problems in your life that could be solved with an invention or such. Or think of something that needs to be explained.

Chemistry related topics/problems are wanted. Non-chemistry topics are also welcome ==============================
I myself was thinking of a way to trap light. For example the solar light that falls on .1% of the USA’s land is equivalent to the amount of energy that the USA currently uses!

This is the reaction that is used:

CH4(g) + H2O(g) + heat ====CO(g) + 3H2(g)

This reaction is done by the sun’s extremely high temperature. So if there was a way to trap the CO(g) + 3H2(g) so you could use it for later use, that would definitely get a Noble Prize =)

I was thinking maybe glass could trap the light…but I don’t know where to continue on from that.
Come on people lol. Your life cannot possible be 100% problem free! @Kleenex: Of course I heard of that lol! It’s (was) all over the news.

BTW did you read about my un-complete idea of getting direct energy from the solar rays? On a clear day about 1kJ of solar energy reaches the surface of Earth. Think of all the energy!
