I need help in adding things as i know im no where close to being covered with all the neccesitys, im aiming for things that will last and be able to be reproduced. I may be moving out into the country soon, and if not, lets say im aiming for this type of scenario
(1) government eventualy makes its way to taking us over
(2) were invaided or slowly manuipulated into a foreign countrys ways, either way end up seeking refuge in a remote area, like red dawn (patrick swazey/jennifer gray) where they go into the forest sadly they dont stay or rebuilt or actualy survive there but that would of killed the movie

I have a little bit of engineering knowledge and have money to move so i have considered building a house on a empty lot of land, perhaps going into it with a few friends to help pay for construction of a fully concrete insulated “bunker” with plenty of rooms and a area for storage and underground farming
(not kidding, as im not happy with the cheap material housing is built with these days, because it seems they are more of the type of homes they boost the econemy, fall apart and require maintnence, which keeps the wheels turning for jobs) im looking for a permenent structure.
Im intrested in foods for planting, and perhaps equipment that would allow me to grow food in a basement, potatoes cover the filler food, but whats a easier to grow, longest year round source for the importan vitamens? if possible recomend both easier to grow foods for places with a lack of sunlight such as underground, and sunlight such as open field (i life in oregon, we dont get much sun here though as its mostly cloudy)
Do Seed potatoes grow other seed potatoes so i only need to buy seed potatoes once?
How about sprouts as a year long easier to grow food?
Im already preparing reading material, downloading survival books to my computer and printing them out, so when the time comes and im settled down and need to know more, i can look to a folder full of knowledge.

I’m repairing a set of four Solar Lights- I’ve replaced batteries on all (one worked), LDR’s on three (two worked as expected- on/off) and the last one lights, but won’t switch off even when the LDR is covered. Has anybody who’s more of a dab hand with a soldering iron got any ideas? Sorry, first answer’s gone completely over my head- I haven’t done anything with PCB’s since I was at school (ie longer than I’d like to think!) and was recommended to change the LDR by a question on here! I also don’t have access to any specialised electronics equipment other than my trusty soldering iron. It’d be cheaper to buy a new light I suppose, but I’d like to get this one fixed because that style was discontinued and I’d just love to see if I could do it.
