Massena has money; Greenport has wind. Together the two municipalities could do a deal that could benefit both communities. But Village Board members aren’t ready to jump at the opportunity.
If upstate Massena thinks funding a wind turbine in Greenport to help meet its energy needs is a good deal, maybe there are even better deals out there, Greenport Trustee Chris Kempner told her colleagues Monday night.
