Company considers Wilkin County wind farm

A community-based wind development company has agreed to do a feasibility study for a wind farm in Wilkin County.
Juhl Wind, Inc., announced Tuesday it has entered into a study agreement with the county on a 6 megawatt community wind farm. The project, called Sunny Side, would incorporate seven local farmer/owner partners and will be located about six miles southeast of Breckenridge.
Bruce Poppel, environmental officer for Wilkin County, said the company had been in contact with him but there’s no news . . .
