In his May 21 commentary, “Bureaucracy would hold back Adirondack wind power,” attorney Bernard Melewski criticized the Adirondack Park Agency for being too strict in its defense of the park’s scenic beauty. Since the newspaper identified Melewski as a former Adirondack Council employee, we must make it clear that the council does not share his opinion.
