South Kent beekeeper raises concerns over wind turbines

Six new turbines could soon be generating wind power in South Kent, pending some answers to Chatham-Kent council.
The Harwich Wind Farm, from Wind Prospect Inc., applied for and received zoning approval at council’s May 11 planning meeting.
Potential opposition came from an unlikely source — a beekeeper.
“Just when I thought we had a project that fit nicely into the guidelines,” joked Tom Storey of Storey Samways Planning Ltd.
Mike Dodock, who keeps 65 honeybee hives on a farm on the north side . . .
